Celebrating Indonesia’s Independence Day brought an opportunity for Salimbado Coffee to meet people face to face. Alongside other local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), we took part in BRI’s celebration to introduce our coffee and share the story behind it.
Throughout the event, we promoted our products directly to visitors and explained what makes our coffee distinctive. These conversations gave people a chance to learn about the coffee’s origins, how it is processed, and the character we aim to bring to each cup. Visitors could ask questions and get to know Salimbado Coffee beyond its name and packaging.

Introducing Salimbado Coffee to visitors, sharing its distinctive character as they enjoy a taste.
At our booth, the introduction began with a cup of coffee. Visitors could taste it while speaking directly with our team, turning a simple tasting into a conversation about the beans, their origins, and the process behind them. It was an opportunity to explain our products in a way that people could experience for themselves.
We introduced Salimbado Coffee’s fermented robusta from West Sumatra and explained how controlled fermentation helps shape its flavor. As visitors tasted the coffee, we discussed its character and answered their questions. Hearing their impressions was just as valuable: each conversation helped us understand how people enjoy their coffee and what they look for in a cup.
Being part of an event with other local MSMEs made the experience especially meaningful. Visitors had the chance to discover different products and meet the people behind them, while participating businesses could introduce their work to a wider audience. Amid the Independence Day festivities, these personal exchanges gave local products a place in the celebration.
Salimbado Coffee extends its sincere thanks to BRI and the organizing committee for the opportunity to participate. We also thank our fellow MSMEs and everyone who stopped by our booth. Your enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and willingness to try our coffee made the occasion memorable for our team.

We hope those conversations continue beyond the event. Whether you met us at the booth or are discovering us through this story, we invite you to explore Salimbado Coffee and find a taste of West Sumatra to enjoy in your own daily cup.

Visitors gathered at the Salimbado Coffee booth to taste our coffee, explore the products, and purchase their favorites. Their enthusiasm made the celebration even more memorable.
Thank you for sharing a cup with us. We look forward to being part of your next coffee moment.
